hottgrape- Sustainable farming is the way to go and slowly people will see that GMOs offer no nutrition and that the few dollars that you save on groceries will translate to thousands in medical bills.
happyswissman- @HixsonLibra I agree with u that the usage of oil is not sustainable. The problem with alternatives is the cost. But as soon as the price of oil is high enough the tractors will be powered by electricity from solar or other sources. And what should we do? If it fails we can go back to human and animal labor anyway right? As long as we have oil we will go ahead and allocate resources to work on improvements.
angieyumin1997- Good! :)
NuMaiVremPamant- the Venus (a.k.a. Lucifer) project is marxist in nature and produced by the very people they claim to be fighting. Zeitards research it (at least its bibliography) before replying. And traditional farming CAN feed us all a much healthier food than "modern" farming which is not sustainable and is only profit-driven...
Jose Eustáquio Ribeiro Vieira Filho- Modern agriculture can be sustainable too!!!
RICE Rockstar- Thinking in the Seed production process, traditional process is needed to preserve the physic and genetic purity in early multiplications stages. It is like dollar production process.
MrFranpois- The same words can be used about "modern" music on this video, and modern agriculture: fast, easy, catchy, greedy, lazy, crazy, blind, selfish, ... joyless and boring at the end
sfourne2- ok if you don't want tis type of farming ,begin youself to sell yours cars , yours PC , yours television and buy a pairs of cows or horses to cultivates a little farm like yours ancestrors
thumpaholden- It's a complex problem. Has anyone seen any development of "modern"cropping technologies that don't rely on fossil fuels? I mean, we all know perfectly well that fossil fuels will run out eventually. Could a plough powered by electricity (a battery) have enough torque to pull thru soil?
James Libra- This type of farming is too energy intensive and unsustainable. Everything relies on the availability of fuel, fertilizers, and pesticides which are also made from petroleum. Fertilizers are made from seed stock of natural gas. The farms that utilized human and animal labor are sustainable.
Ermin0s- Look up Aquaponics, its Sustainable, fast, biological,
bhng19- nice xD this vid helped me with my presentation about farming <3
