thinkertank1- I was 14 at the time of this concert. 2 years later Nirvana released Nevermind, and my friends and I liked it, but it was only an afterthought as Metallica's Black album and Gun N Roses' Use your illusion 1 and 2 were released about the same time. It was an epic time for music, but I am now annoyed by the fact that so many people in the media now only talk about Nirvanna's Nevermind album and how it changed everything. BULLSHIT! For those of us who were alive in the late 80's we remember how it was Metallica's single "One" and Guns N Roses' "Sweet Child O mine" that really shook things up and ended the "Hair Band" music which dominated at the time. In the early 90's Metallica and Guns N Roses were the Kings of rock. Nirvana was different and cool and so was Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains.
