michael devlin- What a stupid test. The testers are a bit wet behind the ears. A 6 cylinder has 50% more staying power at lower revs compared to a 4 cylinder so would be more suited to draught work like ploughing also the narrower tyres would give more bite add also 64 mm longer wheelbase extra weight of front linkage + weight block mounted further forward ( perfect) . The massey would be more suited to high rev pto work ie 1 pass system ' but any experienced farmer would this anyway. Why not repeat the stupid test in reverse ie a new massey 7700 series verses a fiat newholland T 6 160
