Jim Jütte- This video is a good start, but presents agricultural fertilizers as if they do almost no harm and are necessary. In reality, they still contribute significantly to poor health in farm workers and the environment. This video should have a "part 2" that talks about strategies to move away from chemicals, reduce waste in the food industry and organic alternatives that individuals can pursue.
Soldier957- "Agricultural chemicals are vital to the earth". That's bullshit. Purely so. Next time, do your research properly. Look up Permaculture- Using ZERO chemicals produces more nutritious food, that DON'T give you cancer OR birth defects. Pests can be combatted by understanding their ecology. A book is mightier than roundup.
jjs2014- Pesticides and fertilizers have both pros and cons. We all know this. However, without these pesticides and fertilizers there is no way enough crops could be produced to feed the growing population. Without these, there will be more starved people all across the world. Agricultural chemicals ARE vital to the Earth!
