Your opinion about Survivor Stories, Episode 3: Combine harvester accident
Check this out- we do not have anything interesting today.
madeljacky- It more or less is like a chipper, anything that goes through the threshing drum and concave is very very small when it comes out the other side onto the grain pan.
Paddy Ahern- I love his final line ' we might not get the job finished today but we'll be here tomorrow to finish it' A lesson for us all!!
aaron7610man- from a fellow donegal man thanks for sharing your story.in my opinion 90% of farmers are not doing enough when it comes to farm safety.i myself was involved in an accident in 2008 involving the pick up hitch.i ended up losing 2 toes and part of the outside of my foot.another inch further in and i would of lost my whole foot.i was lucky in a way just like this man.fair play to him for getting back out and working.i like the way he can look back at it and realise how lucky he was
erhminer- Isn't the inside of a combine like a chipper
William Bolger- This man is a pure gent for sharing this story, he presented it well...frightened the hell out of me- I think I might double check my tractor which is on axle stands at the moment
MacThunderstick- Just found out my uncle was involved in a combine harvester accident today. He is having to have his leg amputated. I am so thankful he didn't come off with worse.
