Your opinion about Farmi winch blade for tractor logging
Check this out- we do not have anything interesting today.
Big Dan- Very ccool setup. I need to fix my 67 IH tractor and get one of these! Sadly I do not have the funds to do so.. my 3ph hydraulics just quit, the pto does what it wants to, and the brakes are toast.. I mainly use it now as a wheelbarrow on flat land.. picking up things I cannot.. Kinda like a big brother that never tires and can lift 1000 lbs all day long. ha.. thanks for the vid.
ScoutCrafter- With a voice like that you should be doing voice-overs, narration, and radio work! ;)
bofts- Nice
mog5858- what is that little cat at .04 in the backgraund
KB1PTH- How did you get the pto to run when not in the seat our l5240 08 will not run the pto if you are out of the seat
NathansBackwoods- @KB1PTH, pressure button under the seat, when you sit on it it makes contact, just pull the button out and hook the wires together.
DenisSeattle- @KB1PTH, if you flip the seat forward then it won't cut the engine with the PTO engaged. Although definitely not what the manufacturer intended, a simple workaround is to zip-tie the switch lever in the down position. Or, as another viewer said, rewire around that switch. @davetileguy, the winch has a free spool out. Speed control, as with almost any PTO implement, is primarily via the tractor throttle. The winch power-in is a friction clutch so you have fine control of the speed.
davetileguy- Does the winch have power reverse? or freespool?
localcrew- This is a great illustration of how you can do serious work with small equipment in a low-impact manner. Great vid!
