Quranite- The south needs to focus on agriculture like this. Rice, crawfish and roach fish, sorghum, millet, grassfed beef and grassfed dairy. These are crops that can be upgraded, geared for local consumption and beyond.

Z1PP1DY- Cattails that grow in ponds naturally and easilly not only improve the health of the pond ALSO can be harvisted for being broken down into alchohol bio fuel just as easily as corn does, but wont compete with our established food crops.

Quranite- not to mention collards and all varieties (starchy and sweet) of sweet potatoes, pindo palms, pecans etc. etc. If the south can perfect it's agriculture again and build local, staple and widespread cultural crops maybe it'll have a chance. Instead of the Walmart culture it has now.
