Your opinion about Homesteading small farms
Check this out- we do not have anything interesting today.
Edward Little- dine: nice video and great farming instruction as well. I am a big fan of people who are beginning and learning as they go. Keep us informed of how things are working out for you and what changes you make or wish you would've made to begin with. I only have an acre and the ;laws here are strict concerning the keeping of animals. We are only allowed to use up to 10 percent of our property (which includes our house) for any of those kinds of purposes. I'd love to sell but my wife and son love it here. Still, you have given me some good ideas about how to get around that little obstacle.
Kennedy McCloy- How do you know what one is the girl
ERIKA DOWDY- The goats should be Pigs! Cuz they sure are HAMMIN it up for the cameras!😂 I wonder if maybe u could put a fidhpump in the goats water tub ?? If the water is constantly moving , maybe it wont freeze and it might be a little safer than having an electrical box so near the water( but then again, i might not know what the hell i am talking about😋) Nice farm and animals!
Vv hese- awesome farm and place..
raja kiyani- Thanks a lot I enjoy watching this video
Frank From Upstate NY- I could be wrong, but wouldn't it be easier to separate that 3/4 acre closed in lot...into smaller "electrified fence units" to allow for easy "visualization" of grass eating,...then just move the inside fence out more....allowing for the grasses to recover? Would this not allow the nitrogen cycle to be more substantive in smaller areas for quicker recovery by the microbiome in smaller, more concentrated areas? Am I wrong?
I'm trying to find investors to run a small profitable farm homestead in upstate NY now....thank you.
mindloss7- Great video. I myself want to get started on something like this.
4mbrad- Very nice farm! Appreciate your words about farming being hard work and is not chip and takes time. I like the ideea of getting USDA licenced and have your own small grocery store.
Whitney Dees- The way you taaalllk! Lol. I'm from Texas so, listening to you talk is fascinating to me!! :) hope I don't offend you by saying that. :)
Emily Toth- What part of Delaware are you in?
Rommel K.- Very nice.
Vera Coe- Very encouraging video....we have a smallholding in SW France of five hectares, and it is nice to hear someone else speak about the ups and downs of providing one's own food. Love the life but it takes a bit of getting used to at first! As you said, no holidays, and a lot of money being spent on getting the infrastructure of the farm right, but we would not change this way of life for anything!
Stanley Vo- nice idea shared , look good organize mini farmed . thanks you
Sandra Nonofyourbusiness- Thank you for sharing this. Good luck with your beautiful farm.
Josef Rechtshafer- U
jr lar- Great video thanks. : )
Mark Erickson Sr- Thanks for the vid.. Keep up the great work.
Jed Hergenrider- i would cut your lease down to 10 acres and and use the other 8... just my opinion from a full sized farmer/cattle rancher
jksatte- Heavy mulch will really help you control the weeds. Your place is really nice. I loved the walk about. I hope to get started with something similar soon. Blessings! If possible, I would love to hear more about your marketing efforts. Janice
Kristin Morris- Awesome video. How difficult and expensive was it to be usda inspected?
