Your opinion about Blue Oyster Cult: Harvester Of Eyes
Check this out- we do not have anything interesting today.
Michael Hicks- We understand who I am here to go after? We understand how I get my job done? LoL! : )Have a wonderful day! : )
Michael Hicks- Just adding another song to my playlist for; Memory,. Don't know when I got this record away from my sister but I know it was before I was 13. : ). 7
dnatz58- They should have had this tune in the Jeepers Creepers flicks.
Lauren Sabino- Was going great until that terrifying music box type thing happened
Tyler Brown- Oculorum Messor Sum
Eminence Front- Back in 74 I'd play this as loud as my car stereo could go and when the cops heard it they'd pull to the right and stop until I passed.
Dennis Edwards- *Harvester of Eyes Blue Oyster Cult*Some of you old timers... I owned this album. Harvester of eyes, that's meAnd I see all there is to seeWhen I look inside your headRight up front to the back of your skullWell that's my sign that you are deadAnd my list for you checks off as nullI'm the harvester of eyesI'm the eyeman of TVWith my ocular TBI need all the peepers I can findInside the barn where you find the hayWell just last week I took a rideSo high on eyes, I almost lost my wayI'm the harvester of eyesHarvester of eyes, that's me....harvester of eyesAnd I see all there is to see...harvester of eyesWhen I look inside your head....harvester of eyesRight up front to the back of your skull....harvester of eyes
Del Shoemaker- Freaking Harvester of Eyes! Got to love it! Hard to actually play, seems simple. Pretty complex! HA!!
charles fitze- Harvester of Evil and death and don't come around here no more
Donald Patterson- I don't even know why somebody would try to compare this to ICP not even close and it's not about standards either these guys are in a class of their own some people it's hard to accept that so they try to find something to compare it to there is nothing it is what it is
Imafly5150- What happened to great music like this..
Jacob Alsworth- I'm confused why they didn't take the last 22 seconds of this song and glue it on to the beginning of Flaming Telepaths.
King In Yellow- Two people had their eyes harvested :(
Steve Bolton- I need all the peepers I can get,, Harvester of eyes that s me
clubmidnightsun- Love this version but On Your Feet... is excellent
redingtonbee- I saw the band 4 times in venues from huge stadiums to the tiny little Wine Barrel in Canton Ohio during the mid 70's,they always upstaged the other bands. I gave up on them after Secret Treaties( commercial success is a death knell for me). I had not listened to the first 3 albums for 25 years, maybe? I saw them play, Eric and Buck, at the HOF Ribfest this past August. They managed to play 5 selections from the first 3 albums(or is that 6 since Red&Black= I'm on the Lamb But I Ain't No Sheep lol). I have had the worst earworm ever since then and just keep listening to all 3 of them again and again. It is the worst earworm since Manu Chao La Proxima Estacion....I have a wide taste in music lol.
VerdunLad- Forgot how good this one was. The first two with Op Art covers used to freak me out at second-hand stores, I didn't know who they were. But titles like "O.D'd On Life Itself" looked like motivational songs to a 15 year-old back then! Pretty funny – early-mid-seventies high school … Go Islanders!
Wyatt Wilmot- Is it s a serial killer or an eldritch abomination? Maybe it's both!
Gary Gray- The last minute of this song is so heavy
Jenefer R- Array
kenton jones- Small pussy
William Betalleluz Donayre- Array
spitfireaace- bee dee bee ocular peepers
spitfireaace- peepers
Charles Breitweiser- this is hot "Kick you in the balls" rock. You poor kids i feel sorry for you. My kids were brought up on tis stuff, and more.
JEDIALADDIN- Hmmmm.....nothin' sinister here about this song...move along everybody...hmmmm
Alan McGill- you just dont get it bitch, lol.
Sand Man- This song is BadAss... Listen to it live on "On your Feet or On your Knees" Even Better. BOC Rules
Bojoe777NaBl- fucking 110% pure originality, doesnt get better than this my friends
add2718- This is the song off Secret Treaties that took me the longest to get into, but now I can't get enough of it. It does seem to owe a lot to the Doors' "Roadhouse Blues" though. Sounds like a very blues-oriented song at any rate. Last minute or so is great too, if ridiculous.
jwlloyd1- @garrettgerbil13 Correction, you were the 2nd 15 year old in the world with good music taste.
MaMort- For everyone who has seen them live, i'm extremely jealous of you right now, don't talk to me lol
Basil II Macedonia- I agree with you!! Astronomy is the perfect BOC track, IMHO!!
Bethelbandit- @jwlloyd1 I live in Reading where did you see them at?
LaNoire27- saw them in '82 in the midwest...wasn't sure if they still had it, 'godzilla' didn't impress me, I liked stuff like 'secret treaties'...they blew my face completely off, opened with 'e.t.i.' and laser show- did 'born to be wild' as encore!!!
colosalguitarist- @alexdroogie100 you disrespectful basterd have you no respect?why do say shit like that about metallica. ps there one of the biggest rock bands today so a lil repect you pric
changethismf- A heavy treasure. Buck comes through once again.
carrienurse- And the stuttering, "My-my-my-my-my My-my-my-my-my My-my-my-my-my-my I'm the harvester of eyes I'm just walkin' down the street I see a garbage can, I pick it up I look through all the garbage To see if there are any eyes inside I'll put 'em in my pink leather bag And take all their eye balls And I bleed with 'em As I plead with their eyes all night So if you see me walkin' down the street You'd better get out of the way And put on your eye glasses 'cause I'm gonna take your eyes home with me."
Vexed34- In fact now that I think of it, Dominance and Submission begins with that very sound of a clock tick-tock at the beginning!
beefoneeto- Agreed.Do you recall Stewart saying "Let's hear ya cheer for us like you did your Blue Oyster Cult"
